Founded in 1982, the Arkansas Newspaper Foundation provides services to Arkansas Press Association member newspapers across the state. ANF provides paid newspaper internships to students at Arkansas colleges and universities and continuing education grants, and supports the educational and political efforts of the Arkansas Press Association. Funds are raised through golf tournaments, scholarship auctions, private donations, corporate donations and memorials, as well as support from member newspapers.
The mission of the Arkansas Newspaper Foundation is:
-To promote the welfare of the community newspaper industry and the interests of the press.
-To promote and cultivate educational opportunities.
-To aid and advance newspaper journalism education and to promote newspaper readership.
You can support the future of Arkansas journalism through the Arkansas Newspaper Foundation. The Arkansas Newspaper Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowable under law.
